About Us


This blog is a collaboration between me, Kat (Arizona Kate), and my friend Mary "Teal" Blue.   Toon-Time is a new name and a new focus for our  EggToons blog.  In addition to the toon tutorials using Paint Shop Pro, we'll be adding GIF animation tutorials (Animation Shop) and cartoon drawing and animating with Anime Studio (export as GIF, movie or Flash with sound).

Our cartoon drawings are designed to instruct beginners in the use of vector tools and the basic concepts of 2D animation.   We'll start with a series of easy toons and advance to more complicated drawings.    We'd love to hear requests from our visitors.  What subjects do you want to see?  

EggToons are among the easiest cartoon characters to draw and are designed to instruct beginners in the use of the vector tools in Paint Shop Pro.   Vector drawing is simplified by starting with the humble egg shape (a Preset Shape).   The tools in v.7 of PSP are a little different than PSPP X, so we'll include separate tutorials for older versions and newer versions of Paint Shop Pro.
